Mason's First Camping Trip!
Papa and Daddy decided to take Mason on his first camping trip............8 hours away to the Davis Mountains!!!!!! I was slightly concerned about the distance (from me) but he was in good hands. I made sure to pack enough sunscreen and bug spray. Obviously, Mason has a great time with Papa, Daddy, Isaac, and Aunt Mauren. Harper and I got to spend a nice girl's weekend together.
Mason is quite the adventurer & nature lover (must get that from his Papa) so he enjoyed hiking, making smores, going to the observatory, pitch a tent, playing games and just hanging out with his buds doing "guy" stuff. I did miss him terribly and was glad that he missed us too and was ready to come back home! He asked me to go with him next time, but we'll have to see about that. :)

Happy Father's Day!
Unfortunately, I did not have my camera during this event, but I have some photos of what the kids made Ben for Father's Day. :) We took Daddy out to breakfast at Monument Cafe. This year I decided to take Mason to the store to pick out a gift for Daddy. We went to Target and he went straight for the Electronics section (good boy!) and picked out a nice ipad case. We were about to check out when he saw a water spray fan on the end cap of the checkout line. He said he had to have it. I reminded him it's for Daddy, not for him and that he had to choose between the two. Well, he chose the fan! And they took it on their camping trip!

May Calendar Pics
Also, this weekend Mason finally learned how to blow out when blowing his nose! Hallelujah! And Miss Harper is learning sign language (I didn't know it) at school and at dinner time she signed the word "more" and said "please" after it. I'm so proud of her! She's also teething again. On June 1st I noticed a new back tooth on the bottom came through. No wonder she was cranky pants! And, she's been a little cranky again so I bet there's another one about to break through. Harper is still a mommy's girl and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Even when Mason tries to play with her she shrugs him off. He tries to give her hugs and kisses all the time, but it has to be on her terms. I'm sure as they get older they will be the best of friends!
