Open and Close

So, this weekend Mason has learned to open and close his dresser drawers and cabinet. Oh, fun times! Everything gets taken out and not put back in! But, with this cute face, who can get mad. :) The past couple of weeks at bedtime we say to Mason "it's nite nite time" and he repeats and says "nite nite" and walks over to the crib looking for his paci. It's so cute!

Mommy & Mason Time

Well, since Ben is off in FL enjoying the summer like weather, Mason and I have the opportunity to bond :) Today was the start of our Spring weather here in VA. so this morning we went to the Leesburg Outlet mall to window shop. This afternoon we strolled around Reston Town Center and had dinner at Rio Grande, just the two of us. Mason was very good and seemed to be the center of attention on the patio where we were sitting. We shared some rice and sopapillas. Before we left for RTC, I took Mason outside to run around and use up some of that toddler boy energy. He loved it. Here are some pics from this afternoon.

Winter Wonderland

7:12am

I woke up this morning to a winter wonderland complete with beautiful fluffy snow covering just about everything! It looked to be at least 6 inches. I thought our snow days were over! The only marks on the ground at 7am were Molli's pawprints. She loved the snow.

It finally happened.....I got my promotion on Wed. (25th) It was a wonderful surprise. I celebrated with my husband and my favorite little man, had some wine, and relaxed! Low-key partying is me these days. So, enough about me! Here are some pics of Mason from the past few days. On Saturday morning, Daddy made us breakfast. Mason has eggs (mixed with hash browns) for the first time and loved them. That evening our wondeful chef (Daddy) made beef stroganoff......very tasty if I do say so myself! Check out these photos!
