Garage organization

Well, one of the first things we did was of course make a Costco trip for some goodies. Well, we came back with this nice Tool shelf for the garage so we can be better organized. Mason helped Daddy put it together. Mason grabbed his tools and helped screw the parts together with his handy dandy drill, hammer the pieces together to fit, measure to make sure it's perfectly square and level, and all with a smile on his face.

New House

It was a long day, but we finally moved into the new house. Boxes everywhere, but at least all in one place. Another good reason for a Spring cleaning! It's amazing how much stuff you take from one house to another and never use. We lucked out with the nice 70 degree weather. This weekend/next week we are getting a cold front.

3 year Well Check and New Daycare

Today was a very busy day. Mason had his 3 yr checkup with Dr. P. He is growing very well and developing on target. Unfortunately, he had to get a new booster shot they just came out with recently, but he was a trooper.

Weight: 30.6 (he was over 31 lbs, but the sickness didn't help his appetite this past week)
Height: 37 inches
BMI 15.6

Also, after the Dr. appt. today we started a new daycare. He was a little apprehensive and nervous at first, but he did really well today! He stopped crying just a couple minutes after I left. He had a great time and the teacher said he fit right in with the routine and the other children. This daycare is far above the last one. I think he is going to learn so much here and the atmosphere is way more calm than his last daycare.

Happy 5th Birthday Molli!!

Feelin much better

We are definitely on the tail end of being sick and you can tell in these photos of Mason playing with Daddy. He is back to his old happy self. he made up for some much needed playtime. Thank goodness! Now that we are all feeling better, it's back to reality.....work, school, packing, and moving!

On the road to recovery....

Well, it's been a rough week to say the least. After Mason got sick, I got sick with the flu, and now Daddy is sick. Luckily, we will all be better before we move to our new house on the 28th. Mason just took my temperature (end of the band was inserted into my sleeve) with Daddy's workout resistant band, which he had wrapped around his neck like a stethoscope (he's been to one to many Dr. appts) and he said "your temperature is a 5. " That is an improvement because the first time around, I was only at a 3. :) So, I must be getting better. Oh, and Dr. Mason also told me to drink my water so the germs will go away. He might be on to something. Perhaps, I should get him a medical play kit. He may just grow up to become a Dr. one day, who knows.

Happy 3rd Birthday Mason!

Today, Mason woke up with two things: 1) he was a year older and 2) sick! He was such a good boy and in a good mood in spite of not feeling well today. We went to dinner and by the time we got there his cheeks were flushed and his appetite really non existent the entire day. As we were eating he said "I'm tired, I need to go to bed." I have never heard him say that before and actually mean it. Poor little guy. When we got home, he managed to take a few bites of his birthday cupcake and open his present which energized him a little. His favorite right now is Cars, so we had a little Cars themed birthday. After that, we gave him a bath and he turns to us and says "thank you for my birthday." How sweet is that? Love him.

3D/4D of Sweets

Well, we are in the beginning of the 8th month and the countdown has begun! This morning we had an appt. at the 3d/4d ultrasound center to get a sneak peek of our little one. And, no we did not find out the sex this time around either. :) The baby was awake, but as usual he/she was flipping in all sorts of opposite directions. For the most part Sweets had his/her feet and hands up around its face, which made it difficult to get a good shot. He/she is basically curled up in a ball, but still in position. We managed to get a little peek at his/her face. I see the similarities with the ears and nose, just like Mason, but I suspect this baby will look a little different. Time will tell!
