Harper survived her 2nd night with NO PACI!!! GOODBYE, GOODBYE!!!!

My little girl is all grown up! On Thursday night we just couldn't find her paci.........legitimately lost it! (Of course I had backups, but wasn't going to dig into that stash). So, she went to bed with no problems! The next day I searched in her room while she wasn't looking so I could get it before she eventually found it and it was underneath her bed. I put it away out of reach never to be seen again! Last night she said "where is paci?" and I simply told her I don't know. She went right off to bed again with no issues. Same scenario happened with Mason at 2 1/2. :)

GOODBYE PACI!!!! So long Soothie! We've had some great times, but it had to end!

Kindergarten Day cont......

 

I picked up Mason as school promptly at 2:35pm and I couldn't wait to see his little cute face and hear about his first day. We stopped for a snow cone before heading home. Then we went to Target and he got himself a cool new monster truck and now we are off to Longhorn to celebrate his first day. (Mason's choice) All in all I would say he had a great day!

1st Day of Kindergarten!!!

 The day has finally arrived! And I must say the whole experience was very smooth on the first day! GO WINKLEY!!! Mason was super excited about today. We all went into the school and walked him into the classroom. He loves that he has a locker! We put all of his stuff away then of course took some more pics. We gave him lots of hugs and kisses. Mason started coloring then waved us off. He handled it very well! :)

Kindergarten Open House

We went to Kindergarten Open house tonight and found out that Mason's new teacher is Mrs. Huling! YAY! We are so excited for him. Can't wait for Monday!

R.I.P. Big "B" and Hello new car!

Well, the time has finally come! We had to part with Big B. We went to Ford and got a rather fabulous replacement, a new 2014 Explorer and she's a beaut!!!! It's a new color for the '14 called Sunset. So nice to have a brand new truck.

Winkley Day! Popsicles in the Park!

This morning we went up to Mason's new Elementary school,  Winkley. He is super excited to start Kindergarten. He got to walk around the school with the other kids (sans parents) and visit the library and other areas to get the lay of the land. Then to top it all off they hit the playground and handed out popsicles. He had a great time and can't wait to start. All of the teachers were amazing and I'm so happy to know he's going to a wonderful school.

Tonight is Orientation! He is only a couple of weeks away from being a Wolverine!!!!
