Meow!

So Mason has connected the dots and says meow every time he sees the cat. In the car this morning on the way to day care he kept repeating the word "meow" because the last thing he saw before we left was Poose. It was so cute!

Smoochie

We went to visit the Panczyszyn's this afternoon and had dinner and a little playtime. Ok, a lot of playtime. We tried to go to the pool, but they closed it after the clouds and thunder rolled in. So, instead the kids played with the water table and had a blast. At the end of the evening we said goodnight and Emma gave Mason a kiss. So cute!

Fun week

This has been another exciting development week for Mason. He can now climb on the couch all by himself! When you ask him a question like "did you have a good day?" he responds "yea." And in the morning now when we get ready to go downstairs he puts his own paci in the drawer for later without us having to pry it from him. And we are still waiting on the rest of those eye teeth to come in. I hope by Fall.

Frying Pan Park

We made a trip to Frying Pan Park this morning where we met up with Uncle Eric, Aunt Michele, and Emma. Mason saw many animals including sheep and goats (which he loved), pigs, cows, horses, ducks, bunnies, chickens, and a peacock! After we walked around and visited with the animals, we decided to grab some lunch at Gordon's Grill tent. Mason ordered some french fries, no surprise there. When he likes his food he does the happy dance and says "mmmmm." On our way out we go to meet a nice horse named "mama." I think Mason's favorite part of the trip was sitting on all the tractors.

Yummy fries for lunch.
He was cranky. Lucky to get this shot.

End of the week

Mason loves Elmo and when I put these pajamas on him he kept pointing to the little Elmo on his shorts and singing the Elmo song ...na na na na na na. Well the weekend is here and for Mason that does mean sleeping in.

My little guy - random pics

Love little baby feet

Mason is crazy about wearing Daddy's shoes, now he want to put on his socks - multiple pairs at a time!

Look at those teeth! Dr. today said he is still missing all of his "eye" teeth on the top and bottom. I hope they come in soon so he can get relief for awhile until the two year old molars come in! yikes!

18 month check up

The Dr. visit today went very well. He only had one shot today - Hep A. Here are the 18 month stats:

HC: 18 3/4
Height: 32 1/2 inches
Weight: 24.7 lbs

In the waiting room there was a wallpaper border that had fire trucks on them and he pointed to it and say "gaga" and that means fire truck. :)
We'll have another check up when Mason turns two!

Happy 18 month birthday Mason!!!

Each day gets better and better watching Mason do new things. Sometimes I just can't take my eyes off of him! He's growing up so fast he even wants to wear Daddy's size 11 sneakers. Then he spent some time playing with Molli, even giving her a kiss. So now Mason knows exactly what you mean when you say the word "chips." I think we better start spelling more!

Ta-da!!! Look at what a big boy he is!
I'm not listening Mommy.

Molli is happy.

Bean Bag Chair

When I came home from work I decided to give Mason the present I bought him with my mom while on vacation....a red bean bag chair. I knew he would love it because little boys like to throw themselves everywhere, so at least now he won't hurt himself. Here are some pics of Mason enjoying his new "toy."
