My evening...

I am finally feeling like my happy, smiling self again! After a week of feeling like poo, literally! When I got home from daycare today I had some dinner........banana orange medley! It was tasty.

After dinner, I occupied my time by doing some reading, and well, chewing, while mom and dad ate. Then I played in my exersaucer. Mom and dad have to keep thinking of new ways to entertain me. :)

Daddy was blowing in my face and laughing, I was cracking up.

OK, mom said both of these pics were cute, she just couldn't decide which one to use for this post.

Off to the bath! My hair is getting long now that mom makes a mohawk sometimes. Rock star in my future? Maybe football or soccer, we'll see how well I run once I can actually walk on my own.

Mom got this pic at the right time, just when I was making a funny face. She has a knack for catching those moments. Well, after I got my PJ's on we played in my room for a few minutes. Mom took some video of me attempting to crawl. Dad will post it shortly. Dad was teasing me with his iPhone. Oh, and I am now up to 6 oz of formula. I am a growing boy!

Still Sprouting...

To see it better you'll have to click on the pic to enlarge it.
The chicklet is rising!
So, it's been a whole week now and my one tooth has sprouted up slightly. Mom took some new pics to show it off. I tried some baby puffs, but I'm not quite ready for those yet. One little tooth just doesn't cut it. Check it out. Hopefully you can see it.

Wheel 'O Yum!

Mom and Dad thought I was ready to try some "real" food, so they gave me this round thing. I heard them call it "carrot wagon wheels." It looks funny, but worth a try.
Here I go!
Hmmm, it's not so bad. Doesn't really taste like carrots. Not sure if it is a gum massager or food!

Poose & Bear - BFF

Who's Standing?

Guy's standing, who's standing, guy's standing! That's my mom and dad's little song for me (one of them!) Dad only let go for a nanosecond, but I was still standing all by myself. I hope I walk like mom did at 9 1/2 months.
Oh, and here I am upside down, I love it!

Chicklet has surfaced!

:)
If you look closely at the left bottom tooth, you can see it!
I think I feel it in there.
YAY for me!

So my left bottom front tooth has broken through the skin! YAY! It's finally here! It was rough for a little while. Mom said I was cranky tonight and when she looked in my mouth, she knew why! Now we just wait until the tooth sprouts all the way up.

The chicklet is coming soon!

Notice it's not plural. :) Tonight my mom noticed white on top of one of the bottom two front teeth... the one on the left! I've been feeling something strange there. I think my tooth will be sprouting VERY soon! I'm so close! Mom is very excited. I'm sure mom will take a pic of my tooth as soon as it sprouts above the gums!

Playtime with Cousin Emmie

Today we went over to Emmie's house for dinner and a little playtime of course. It was also Emmie's six month birthday. We are getting so big so fast, our mommies can't believe it. Emmie let me play with all of her toys! I really liked the stars (great on the gums), the keys, and the round blue ball that made lots of noises. Our mommies are very proud of us because we can sit up so well now.

Looks like we both want this thing. Here we are sharing nicely. :)What?
Emmie wouldn't let me chew on her arm so I grabbed the keys instead.
Hmmm, which toy shall I chew on next?

Good Evening

It was a good evening indeed! First let me recap from this past week. My little guy has been talking up a storm lately. Tonight he didn't just say "da-da", he said "hi" and "da-ddy." Quite impressive for an almost 7 month old! In addition to his speaking skills, Mason has become an expert in sitting up on his own. You'll see below in the pics. He is eating more and more solid foods, stage 2! Of course he loves the fruit more than the veggies. He loves to be on his tummy so he can roll back and forth and he hasn't quite attempted to crawl, however, he gets his butt up in the air but isn't sure what to do yet after that. Instead of crawling and going forward, he is now just doing a 360 making circles! Mason enjoys standing and marching in place. I bet he'll take his first steps before he turns 1! Last, but not least.......we are still waiting for his little teeth to sprout. Stay tuned...I'll hand it over to Mason now :)

Check out my kicks. At first when I stood up, I really wasn't sure about these things. It felt a little weird to stand in. Not really sure how to step in these. I guess they complete my outfit, but socks will do next time.

We decided to go for a little evening walk since the weather was nice. Of course on the way back home I took a nap.

Check me out sitting up all by myself in the gym.
I like this sitting up thing, it's much easier to reach the toys.
Hey, look at this thing! It's like a baby size punching bag!

NJ Visit

This weekend we went to visit my Mom's family in New Jersey. Here we are at my Uncle John's and Aunt Michele's. That was my first long car ride. I wasn't in this pic because I was napping (see pic below!) Dad was taking the pic so he wasn't in it either.
Wow, my first hotel stay at the Sheraton. I slept like a baby! :)
Here is my Great-Grandmother Romano who I met for the first time.
Here I am sleeping while everyone else was eating. It was a long day, so I decided to catch some Zzzz's.

Sunday Funday

We went to Emmie's pool and the weather was perfect! I couldn't look up at the camera too much because the sun was in my eyes and I was preoccupied with the floatie. Mom tried to help me swim, but I really wasn't too sure about it yet. I kicked my feet occasionally. I loved splashing my hands in the water. I couldn't figure out why my face was so wet. LOL!
