Molli is recovering very well! She managed to get her collar off, but that didn't last long.

Molli's Surgery

Molli had surgery yesterday on 4/23 to remove her large benign tumor on her back right leg. When I picked her up at 3:15pm she seemed pretty good, walking around and tail wagging. I'm sure she was happy to go home. Everything went well at the vet, however, that evening one the anesthesia wore off, she was crying and making groaning sounds. I slept on the couch to watch her through the night. She finally ate some food at 1:30am and kept it down and was finally able to rest. I don't think she got much sleep.

 This morning when I left she looked a little better.  And when I got home this afternoon she was in a good mood and hasn't cried. We took the bandage off and there is some swelling and bruising, which was to be expected. So, now that the bandage is off, on goes the cone for two weeks. Sorry Bear! I'm just happy she is more herself today. Time for her pain meds!
