Say what?!!!

Miss Harper's vocabulary is expanding day by day. Tonight she said the word "shoe" and then during bath time I said the word "ear" and she pointed right to her ear. She also says bye-bye when she waves. What a little smarty pants! Lately, she has been running at Mason to give him a big hug and not let got. It's so cute!

My soccer champ!

Mason scored two goals, had an excellent breakaway, and I can say the most competitive 4 yr old soccer kid on that field. Love it! I'm so proud of him! Keep your eye on #4 in the videos.

On a side note.....Mason like eggs now, yay! and eats the apple with the skin on. My how things have changed!

Crawling gone crazy! Stair crazy that is...and more teeth!

And she's off! Harper has discovered that she can crawl up more than a couple of steps now and she is darn proud of herself. With her big bro by her side, she makes her way up to the top of the stairs!

In addition to this new found activity, she had her 7th tooth bust through the gums. It is one of the back teeth on the right side. No wonder she wasn't in a good mood the week prior. I need to check for more! They kinda sneak up on ya.

New developments for Harper

Harper is growing up fast! Over the past few weeks she has really learned a lot. First I have to note that on 3/7 she got another tooth on top next to her front teeth and then again on 3/31 another chicklet sprouted on top next to the two front teeth. So, now she has 6 total! Her favorite food is still anything with cheese, especially pizza! And to top it all off, 3/28 was the last official day of formula! She drinks whole milk and loves it! That was an easy transition! Not to mention we had sushi one night and yep, she ate it! (California rolls)

Harper has also expanded on her vocabulary recently.

3/22 ~ said "car"
4/1 ~ said "ball"
Some others over the past week include........Elmo (her new favorite character), book (daddy has been reading her stories at night), Molli, puppy, and the normal Mommy and daddy :) She knows exactly what you mean when you say a phrase. She throws away trash in the trash can now too.

She is still great at going to get her shoes when we have to go outside and recently when I say "we have to change your diaper" she goes and lays down near the diaper caddy. What a smart girl!

And most recently tonight at dinner (Maggiano's for my birthday) she drank from a cup using a real straw! I forgot her sippy cup in the car and said well, let's try it, she has to learn some time. And she did! So proud of her.

Lastly, Happy Birthday to my late grandmother. I wish she could have seen the kids now!

14 is his lucky number

Today on April 14th Mason scored 14 goals in his soccer game this morning! GO MASON! That's definitely something to smile about! :) Must be all the food this boy has been eating. Since he's been off the inhaler for awhile he's hit a growth spurt. He is hungry ALL THE TIME! That's my little athlete!

Easter

Mason couldn't wait for the Easter bunny this year! He collected so many eggs! I was a bit worried since all day yesterday Mason wasn't feeling too well. He recovered just in time for Easter morning! Harper did well too. They had an egg hunt at school a couple of days before and they told me she was the only one in her class who got the concept and putting the eggs in the basket. She came home with plenty of goodies!
