So, we realized today that Mason is getting way better at crawling so we needed to take the appropriate precautions. The baby gate goes up! They are the old wooden gates we used for Molli when she was a pup. It does the trick. Although, as you can see here, Mason found another chew toy! But, he is holding on to the gate and standing up all by himself :)

On the move!
Well, I have finally figured it out and just a few days after my eight month birthday. Weeks of watching Leah at daycare has prepared me. You will be so proud of me, (I know mommy and daddy are) tonight at 6pm I made my first move. I got up on my knees and actually moved forward! YAY! Now I am ready to go go go.......watch out mom and dad! There's no stopping me now!
Oh, and shortly thereafter at dinner, I had my first french fry, courtesy of dad. (mom was not happy) Needless to say with only my two chicklets, I really wasn't able to fully enjoy it. I just licked the salt off and tried chewing on it for awhile, made not head way. Then I dropped it on the floor. Mom says I need another month for that kind of "real" food.

New Developments!
The second chicklet has arrived! Mom and Dad just noticed it today. At least now I will have two bottom teeth instead of one! I can certainly feel it. No wonder I was cranky the past couple of days. Finally, maybe I'll be able to start eating real solid foods soon. Now I just need the top teeth to sprout.
Well, here I am trying to figure out what to do with these puff things. Every time Dad hands one or two, or three to me, I crush them in my hand. As you can see here I mistakenly tried to put one in my mouth, but realized it was yucky just like the last time I tried it.
With the help of Dad, I have been walking around the first floor of the house. Mom says I just can't sit still anymore. I'm not yet quite ready to crawl, but I do love stretching my legs and walking. I am even putting one foot in front of the other. Mom and Dad are so proud of me.

A Day at the Park
The weather was beautiful today so we decided to pack up the family and head to Great Falls Park. We had a picnic there with the Panczyszyn's. I hung out and played with Emmie while mom was taking a million photos!

Go Hornets!
Today was a fun-filled day and a fun-filled evening! We went to the first season opener for the Herndon High School Football team, GO HORNETS! We met up with Aunt Michele and Emmie in the stands. We cheered them on! We could only stay until part of the 2nd quarter, since it was nearing my bed time. Darn night time games! The score was 7-6 when we left. I hope the Hornets won. My Uncle Eric is one of the coaches. In support for my Uncle Eric, I wore a special shirt that my mom had made for me. :)
Wow, look at those cheerleaders.
He must be hot in that costume.
