1 year check up for Harper

Now that my little girl has turned into a toddler, we went to see Dr. Pandya for her 1 year check up! Her weight has maintained, but that is because she is cruising around town all the time. That girl never stops going! She also must have a great metabolism. I noticed at a previous visit (2/8) that she had what appeared to look like rash or bumps, some kind of skin irritation which I initially thought was from when she had hand, foot, and mouth recently. I asked the Dr. to take a look at it and she told me right away that it was eczema or from hand, foot, and mouth, that is was a hereditary skin condition called Keratosis Pillaris. There is not too much to do for it until she is older and it warrants further attention.

Length: 29 1/2 (50-75%)
Weight: 18 lbs. 3 oz (10-25%)
HC: 44 1/2 (25-50%)

She had 3 vaccines today: Hep A, ChickenPox, and MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella)

And at the end of the day, she is tuckered out!!!!!!!!!

Just recently Harper added some new tricks to her game. She can can kick and throw a ball, loves sitting in chairs (kid sizes of course) and can speak 5 words well with the right context. And now will be moving to the toddler class on 3/1.

Cupcake Birthday Party!

We celebrated Harper's first birthday party with a cupcake theme and invited some friends over. I made this timeline of her first year. Wow, it went by fast! She had a wonderful time and so did we! It has been amazing to watch her over the past year grow into who she is today. My little spitfire! Love her! XO Can't wait to see what the next year brings!

1 Year Old!!!!

My little miss princess turned 1 today! I can't believe how quickly it has gone by. It was just yesterday that I remember going to the hospital to give birth. Oh, how I miss that! Now that Harper is all grown up (she acts like she's two) she knows how to give high fives, give kisses, play peek-a-boo, and she loves to clean. Maybe that is a girl thing. Oh, and today she learned to hold up her index finger for the number one when asked how old she is. She is a fast learner! Good night pumpkin...........get some rest, you have a big year ahead of you! XO


Even big brother was all smiles on her birthday. He even asked me to take his picture. Is this my kid? LOL!

11 months going on 2!

Harper is growing up so quickly! Her one year birthday is approaching and I don't know where the time went.

Harper recently has been spending time in the toddler class and loving it over there. She will move up on March 1st! She has gotten both top front teeth in, has said "daddy", has grown from a size 3 shoe into a size 4 in a matter of a month or so, her favorite food is pretty much anything with cheese in it, and she absolutely loves Molli climbing on her every chance she can get. She is still walking around everywhere and now picking up the pace. She is too active now that I have to take a picture of the blocks separately because once they are down she immediately dives right for them. I really have to be quick these days to get a picture of her. And.......she's still a mommy's girl! :)
