Goodbye Nani...

Christmas has winded down. Today actually felt like Sunday. Ben and Mason took Nani to the airport at lunchtime. We had a nice trip despite 90% of us being sick for most of the week; we said our goodbye's until next time....
This is the face I get most of the time. The "what are you looking at face, I'm just doing my thing over here" or when she is walking she is so proud of herself she has a cute little grin.

Harper still likes playing with cars and trains. I guess because she has her brother to play with. :)

This afternoon Mason was playing angry birds on Ben's computer. Oh yes, he was introduced to it this weekend and he loves it. He was very focused.

Molli & Mason

He still loves this dog

Sea World San Antonio

We finally made it to Sea World! After a two hour drive we arrived at lunchtime. We walked around a little bit before sitting down to eat. Then we went to watch the Sea Lion holiday show where Clyde and Seamore showed us their cool tricks. Afterwards, we headed over to the Shamu show where everyone went in and Harper and I strolled around a bit. At 3:30pm we headed over to see the Dolphin show. We stopped for ice cream on the way out and made sure to feed the Dolphins. :) Oh, and we were sure to make one last pit stop at the gift shop to pick out a Dolphin stuffed animal for Mason. His name is now Flipper.

The loot

I would say it was another great Christmas! Mason got everything on his Christmas list and more including some cool new reading material for both of them! While Harper enjoys cars and trucks as much as her big brother, she got some cool new toys too! Mason helped her unwrap them. Mom and Dad got some nice gift cards to spend on the kids, which I love! Also, Mason and Harper made us some cute crafts at school. Mason made the ornament and frame. Harper made us that festive votive candle holder.

Santa has arrived!

Santa has arrived and dropped off all of these wonderful presents for Mason and Harper. I cannot wait to see their faces tomorrow morning. Mr. Elf went home with Santa......until next year!

Santa is coming to town...

And, we are getting prepared for his arrival! Mason and I went to the mall this morning to see Santa and tell him what Mason wanted for Christmas. Unfortunately, Harper is sick with Pneumonia and stayed home for this one. Maybe next year she can sit on Santa's lap. Mason was very excited to tell Santa that he wanted Spider man toys, a racetrack, and that we made him special chocolate chip cookies. Mr. Elf is sitting in the tree watching us up until the last minute.

Tonight, we also made some sugar cookies. And, Mason just sprinkled reindeer food out in the backyard. Can't let anyone go hungry. They have a long night ahead of them. :) Even though it's raining here in Austin, at least we have winter temps....40 degrees. Harper wasn't in a good mood and didn't feel like wearing the Santa hat. I'll try to get some pics of her tomorrow morning when she's hopefully more in the holiday spirit.

Wagon ride

Tonight we decided to take a walk to the neighborhood park. Harper is old enough now that we can sit them both in the wagon. They were so cute! On our way back we stopped by a house that is decorated with an enormous house-size blow up Santa. I'm sure our neighbor didn't mind using their prop for a photo opp! :)
