Well, this is what I saw this morning when I walked into Harper's room She's so proud of herself! This was the first time she stood up by herself in the crib. What am I going to do with her!?!?

Well, she's done it again! My little girl has decided it's time to pull herself up and stand up not to mention perfecting it in a day. She's super proud of herself. Why not, she's only been sitting up for oh I don't know a couple of weeks and I guess that got a little boring for her. What's next?????

Harper 6 Month Checkup

Here we are at the Dr's office this morning with my little cutie sitting up on the table. The Dr. said her bottom teeth should be coming up any day now. And, Dr. Pandya said "wow she is sitting up like an 8 month old already." Here are her stats:

Height: 26 Inches (50-75 percentile)
Weight: 14 lbs, 8 oz (25 percentile)
HC: 40 3/4 cm

Just the other day on her 6 month birthday (8/24) she was crawling up and standing in her crib at daycare. I'm not sure we are ready for this! She is drinking out of sippy cup pretty well too.

In Loving Memory...

My dear grandmother passed away today. It wasn't unexpected, but we are still in shock she is gone. We are very sad, but she lived a full life and was 93 yrs old. We should all be so lucky. Before she passed, she sent Harper this necklace and I will always remember her with this photo. She never had a chance to meet Harper, but I would always send her photos of the kids so she could watch them grow, she loved that. She also didn't get a chance to see this photo I took this morning of Harper wearing the necklace, but I will make sure Harper knows who gave this to her and who her great-grandmother was. We will miss you Gram!

Sitting up = Check!

Well, over the weekend Harper has perfected sitting up all by herself and staying up! She is a pro at it now! And what great posture already. What's next you ask? Well, I think my little angel will be walking by Christmas just like her big brother did at 9 months. I'll be prepared.

Right now she just started to shake her head as if she is saying "no"........they start so young! She also has a mega tight grip so don't get your hair caught in her little hand. Speaking of hand, she squeezes her right hand into a fist (open and close) all the time. Not sure where she picked that up from.

Sunday Swim

We decided to go up to the neighborhood pool this morning to cool off. This was Harper's first time in the big pool. She loved it! She doesn't even flinch when you put her in the water. Mason got to show off his swim moves. Harper was a little tired, it was past her morning nap, but we still enjoyd it! She nearly fell asleep in the floatie!
