Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day! It's so nice to have a Monday off! This year we spent the day at a friend's house and got all the kiddos together for some water fun to cool off in this heat! The kids had a blast and so did the parents. I can't wait until our beach trip in September!

I made dessert. Here is my masterpiece. Not bad for my first flag cake. :) I needed a 7th row of raspberries. I'll calculate better next time.

It wasn't until today that I realized that Harper's hair is actually very wavy when it air dries. Maybe it's changing as she gets older. We hadn't notice b/c we always blow dry her hair after the bath. LOL! And as you can see below, Harper is still obsessed with Molli, however she was afraid of our friend's 3 dogs who are smaller. Who would have thought! I guess it's Molli or nothing.

At the big kids table were Emerson, Addison, Mason and Harper

Harper's friends: from left adorable little Channing, and two handsome boys Keaton and Hudson (far right)

Harper's 15 month well check

Harper is growing up so fast! She says cookie, trash, go, cuppy, up and so many other new words every day, it's hard to keep up! She had another 3 shots, only this time it wasn't a live virus.

Stats:

Length: 31 1/4 inches (75th percentile)
Weight: 19.10 (10th percentile - She was over 20 lbs, but she had a nasty stomach bug a few days prior to this appt)
HC: 45 1/2 (25-50 percentile)

On our way to daycare...she probably forgot about the shots by this time.

Mother's Day

I had a good day today! The kids washed the truck for me, what a nice present! Now the truck looks brand spankin new! We ate dinner at Mighty Fine and it was delicious!

Visit from BBQ & Martha

We had enough special visit from Big BBQ and Martha this weekend. We had a great time and while they were here they were kind enough to take Mason on an adventure in nature. He loved it of course! And we couldn't go without some home made cooking. This time little BBQ joined in the fun and was hands on with Papa to make pizzas! I think it was a success!
