Up, Up, and Away...

We got Mason a new kite today and wanted to try it out. We went to the park near our house, a nice open space and gave it a whirl! Baby Harper sat by and watched her big brother. Mason did an excellent job getting it up in the air by running across the field catching the wind. After we were done flying the kite, Mason came over to me and gave me a flower he picked on the ground. What a cutie!

Week 8

Harper is doing much better every day. She smiles more and more each day. We are happy that she is doing so well. Now, we just have to get her to eat more so she can sleep longer. :) She had her check up at the pediatric surgeon's office on the 27th and she healed great! They removed the bandages and you can barely see where the incision was made.

Harper 2 month check up

Today was Harper's two month well check. She weighed in at 9 lbs, which was a drastic improvement since the surgery. It is only in the 10th percentile, but she is gaining weight so that is key. She was 22 inches long (25th percentile) and HC is 36 1/2. She also had to get some vaccines today which she wasn't too pleased with, but she recovered quickly. :)

Visit from Stacy

My very good friend Stacy came to visit us for a long weekend. I was sl glad to see her and glad she got to meet Harper. She also helped me get some great Easter pics. I managed to get a few pics before she left to remember her visit.

Besties!

Mason usually calls Dad his best friend, but today for a few moments, I was his bestie! :) And I loved every second of it! Mason loves licorice flavored jelly beans. I can't believe it either! He also started liking apple juice.

Bubbles Bubbles

It was a nice afternoon so we went outside for some bubble fun. Mason ran around chasing the bubbles and popping them!
